The 2018 US Expat Opinion Survey Is Here!

Living the expat life can be an amazing experience – the upsides are innumerable and varied. But sometimes it can feel isolating as well, as though you are no longer a necessary participant in the shaping of your home country. Though Greenback is first and foremost a tax company, we also feel a sense of community with our expats since our founders and many of our employees are expats as well. It’s important to us to know what’s important to expats. So without further ado, we are very excited to announce the launch of our 2018 US Expat Opinion Survey!

Why We Want You to Take Our Survey

Some of the biggest changes in American tax code history were enacted this past year. The tax reform has changed taxes drastically but left expat tax reporting requirements mostly intact. Recently, the IRS announced the end date of the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program as well. We want to know your stance on these changes, and we want to hear about your experience with expat taxes in general. Together, we have the capacity to make the expat experience visible in a way that can create positive change!

Plus, we aren’t going to just pore over the information ourselves. Once we compile the findings, we will share the outcomes globally via press releases, within our extensive expat partner network, and with members of national and international media. We will be passing the results along to those who are best positioned to advocate on behalf of expats.

Why You’ll Want to Take Our Survey

Our survey is a great way to make your voice heard, but that’s not the only reason you might want to take the survey. When you complete the survey, you can enter to win a $1000 gift card to Hotels.com! Plus, the survey only takes five minutes because we know you’ve got things to do. Take the survey now!

Thanks in Advance

The only way to be heard is to speak up. Expats unite! Thank you in advance for participating in our 2018 US Expat Opinion Survey. If you have questions about the survey, never hesitate to contact us.
