Greenback’s legendary US tax services have been shortlisted for EMMA awards for the third time this year! It’s been a big year for awards for us, and we’re thrilled to be considered for this prestigious award once again.
What Are the EMMAs?
EMMA stands for Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards, and, each year, the Forum for Expatriate Management recognizes companies around the world for the services they provide to expats. According to their website, the EMMAs “celebrate the best and brightest of the global mobility industry and the supporting suppliers and vendors.” We’ve been nominated in different categories around the world for our US tax services in the Americans, Asia Pacific, and now Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. We’re thrilled to be nominated for the resources we provide to expats worldwide.
What Awards Is Greenback Nominated For?
What makes this announcement even more exciting is that we’re up for three different awards: Tax Provider of the Year, Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility, and Thought Leadership – Best Survey or Research Study of the Year!
The reason we’ve been selected for the shortlist in the category of Tax Provider of the Year is fairly straightforward. But we’ve also been considered for the technology award due to our new Greenback Tax Companion, our smart, streamlined, and simplified system built solely from feedback from expats around the world that has already made expat tax prep faster and even more hassle-free than before.
We’ve been nominated in the thought leadership category for our 2018 US Expat Opinion Survey – a survey that asked expats not only what they thought about US taxation but also social issues, citizenship renunciation, and more. Our survey continues to bring awareness to expat issues on a global scale, and we’re very thankful to the over 3,800 expats who participated in it.
