Why did you create the survey?

Approximately 9 million US citizens live abroad. Many feel that their voices aren’t heard. This 2017 US Expat Opinion survey was created to provide an opportunity for expats to unite and express their opinions and protect their interests.

There’s strength in numbers and by gathering the opinions of American expats, our objective is to bring attention to the topic of expat taxes, the expat lifestyle and the global tax concerns that impact them the most.

Who should complete the survey?

You! And every US expat who wants their point of view recognized by those who are in a position to advocate on their behalf.

Why is it important to participate in this survey?

Your feedback plays a vital role in highlighting the interests of all American expats. Your responses will help expat influencers and others who represent expats to understand and advocate for the issues that are most important to you as an American living abroad.

Is the survey really only 5 minutes?

Yes! The survey has been designed to gather as much information as possible without taking up too much of your time.

Voicing my opinion is great, but is there anything else in it for me?

Absolutely! Just for participating, you’ll be entered to win a $1,000 Hotels.com gift card. All participants who complete our survey will receive the results, plus some great information and resources from us once the survey is completed.

The only way to be heard is to speak up. Expats unite! Thank you in advance for participating in our 2017 US Expat Opinion Survey. If you’re ready to get started on your US expat taxes, click here to begin.
