When you return to Greenback for a future tax year, you’ll usually have the option to work with the same accountant who prepared your prior return. That continuity means you don’t have to re-explain your situation, your foreign accounts, or your filing history each season.

A few details worth knowing:

• Default match: Same-accountant pairing is the default for returning clients
• Backup plan: If your prior accountant isn’t available, Greenback pairs you with another qualified expat accountant and briefs them on your file
• Client choice: You can request a different accountant if you’d prefer; just let Customer Champions know
• Continuity of file: Your file and prior-year context follow you regardless of who prepares the current return
