What Tax Years Do I Need to File With Greenback?

You can file the current tax year plus any prior years you’ve missed. Greenback doesn’t cap how far back the catch-up goes.

Most prospects fall into one of three buckets:

  • Current year only: You’re caught up and just need this year’s return. Standard Federal Tax Return Preparation at $565.
  • A few missed years: You’ve fallen one to a few years behind. Late tax return preparation handles back-year filings at $565 per year.
  • Multiple missed years (Streamlined-eligible): If you’re a non-willful filer who missed three or more years, the Streamlined Filing Compliance Procedures package covers 3 years of returns and 6 years of FBARs at a flat $1,750. Usually, the most cost-effective and penalty-protective path.

Your Greenback accountant evaluates which mix fits your situation during onboarding and quotes the total before any work begins. See the Streamlined Filing Package for details on the catch-up route.
