What Forms Are Included in a UK Tax Return?

A standard UK Self-Assessment Tax Return includes the main six-page tax return (SA100) along with any relevant supplementary forms, depending on your sources of income.

Your UK Chartered Accountant—working in partnership with Greenback—will determine which forms apply to your situation. Commonly included forms are:

  • SA100 – Main tax return form for individuals
  • SA102 – Employment income (similar to a US W-2)
  • SA103 – Self-employment income
  • SA105 – UK property and rental income
  • SA106 – Foreign income
  • SA108 – Capital gains
  • SA109 – Residency and remittance basis information

If you’re a US expat living in the UK, your Greenback accountant will coordinate directly with our UK Chartered Accountant to ensure both your US and UK tax returns are accurately aligned, helping you avoid double taxation and maximize any applicable treaty benefits.
